On Feb 2^nd,2015, FSIS issued the letter to NAFIQAD guiding the implementation of the mandatory catfish and Siluriforme product inspection (including pangasius of Vietnam exported to the U.S. ). Accordingly, before the date of March 1^st, 2016, NAFIQAD has to send some legal documents of pangasius product control in Vietnam and the list of companies exporting pangasius (Siluriformes) to the U.S., so that Vietnam pangasius exports to the U.S won't be interrupted in an 18-month transition period from March 1^st, 2016 to Aug. 8^th, 2017.
